Also known as McRae Cemetery. Among the burials are the bodies of two Confederate Soldiers (William Riley Glisson, Co. B, Second Regiment, Florida Cavalry, died 10 Feb 1898 and Isaac Tyre, Co. K., Third Regiment, Florida Infantry, died 28 Oct 28 1891) reinterred here in 2008 with their tombstones which were removed from their original burial site one mile away in woods being threatened by residential development (see http://archives.clayclerk.com/cemeteries-reinterments.html). There are a number of funeral home markers in this cemetery where identifying information has been lost and are transcribed under "Unknown."
